Collaboration and Creative Partnerships
Lost Histories is built on the belief that powerful storytelling begins with curiosity, research, and creative vision.
As the studio grows, we are interested in forming select collaborations with individuals, organisations, and investors who share an interest in meaningful documentary production and innovative storytelling.
The emergence of AI-assisted filmmaking has opened new possibilities for independent studios. Small teams can now produce visually rich documentaries, historical reconstructions, and educational films that previously required large budgets and production houses.
What remains essential, however, is the creative direction behind the technology.
Lost Histories provides that vision through careful research, narrative development, and cinematic storytelling rooted in history and place.
We are particularly interested in working with partners who wish to support or develop:
- historical documentary projects
- heritage and cultural interpretation films
- museum and visitor centre media
- educational and training films
- specialist documentary storytelling for organisations and institutions
Some collaborators may bring historical expertise, subject knowledge, or institutional partnerships.
Others may bring investment, production support, or opportunities to expand documentary storytelling into new fields. In many cases the most effective partnerships arise when creative vision meets practical support.
If you have an idea, a project, or the resources to help develop new documentary work but are looking for the right creative team to shape it, Lost Histories welcomes the conversation.
Together we can create films that preserve knowledge, communicate complex ideas clearly, and bring overlooked stories back into view.
